Mission Possible--Possibly starting and stopping a stopwatch as the task
Robo-Billiards--A set of blocks will be initially placed around 3 sides of the racked balls.
Bottle Rocket--no parachutes, 2 L bottles this year
Bridge Building--similar to 04, but removed max weight being held as 1st tier. Returning to the highest efficiency wins concept.
Experimental Design--no changes
Write It / Do It--no changes
Naked Egg Drop--no changes
Compute This--trial event similar to a few years ago.
Science of Fitness--some minor changes
Awesome Aquifer--build a model aquifer.
Forestry--no changes
Life Science Lab--addition of simple Mendelian genetics as a station
Water Quality--no changes
Dynamic Planet--glaciers and possibly oceans as topics
Fossils--last year, rocks/minerals for 05-06
Meteorology--severe storms as new topic
Reach for the Stars--no changes
Road Scholars--no changes
Sounds of Music--previously a trial event, similar to Div C

Mission Possible--yep, still here, something about starting and stopping a stopwatch as the task
Robot Ramble--similar, a few new things to pick up, inflate a 12 inch
balloon to diameter of your choice and put in the box prior to start, pop the balloon as part of the task.
Bottle Rocket--no parachutes, 2 L bottles this year
Towers--new height is 60 cm, new "waist" is at 40 cm. Scoring changed back to older version where max weight is not needed, but rather only highest efficiency.
Experimental Design--no changes
Practical Data Gathering--similar
Compute This!-- '04 trial event and similar to a few years ago.
Fermi Questions-- '04 trial event
Cell Bio--no changes
Designer Genes--no changes
Science of Fitness--becoming "Health Sciences", endocrine system replaces circulatory
Forestry--no changes, but more emphasis on ecology
Dynamic Planet--glaciers and possibly oceans as topics
Fossils--last year, rocks/minerals for 05-06
Astronomy--no changes
Remote Sensing--coastal landforms as emphasis
Storm the Castle--clean up of rules
Wright Stuff--similar
Physics Lab--optics as main focus
Chem Lab--drop periodicity, add chemical bonding as new topic
Qualitative Analysis--cations in solution (similar to years ago), but new chemicals. Probably will have a new name, but the QA of the last 7 years is gone.
Crime Scene Science--a forensics event, details somewhat sketchy still, but will be more clear shortly.
